Meet Our Team

Hi, I’m Rhiannon

I AM THE CEO AND FOUNDER OF LEARN. SHARE. CARE.

I have been doing nursing for over a decade, predominantly in Emergency Departments, and have completed a Masters in Advanced Practice on top of my nursing degree. I have worked in education, teaching pre-registration nursing students at The Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, King’s College London for over 4 years and have a Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Education as well as being a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I have published work in international nursing journals and presented at conferences around the UK. Examples of my work can be found on iTunes and online.

I love to travel and have been lucky enough to do nursing work on a voluntary basis in Somaliland, Laos and Madagascar. On top of this, I completed my Diploma in Tropical Nursing at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine.

I started Learn, Share, Care in the hope that the amazing nurses and midwives around the globe would be able to learn together and share their knowledge in order to improve care all over the world.

Hi', I’m Chris

I AM THE DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION FOR LEARN. SHARE. CARE.

My first experience of living and working in a developing country came back in 1996, when I went to Nepal as a volunteer teacher and set up a small NGO, Global Action Nepal (www.globalactionnepal.org), at the time to support the schools in the area where I had been working.

Aside from my work in Nepal, I have divided my work time between the International Development and ELT sectors. In addition to teaching English as a Foreign Language / ESOL at various times, I worked for several years teaching English for Academic Purposes at King’s College London and Cambridge University, with students ranging from Foundation to PhD level.

In the last couple of years I have gone freelance, working on projects with organisations such as the British Council (Turkey, Sudan and India), The Tropical Health and Education Trust (Somaliland) and the Times Educational Supplement. I have a Masters in International Development and am currently doing a part-time EdD at the University of Bath, focusing on education for refugees and in fragile circumstances.
